The idea of The Time Doctor had been around for many years, however it all came to fruition in a bar in October 2012. After a networking event, i was talking to my great freind Ian Prowse and somehow the conversation turned to what 2013 was going to look like and what we really wanted to do. Ian had the idea of setting up a different type of networking event that was underpinned by the thought of getting to really know the person behind the business. This went on to become known as The Vibrant Network. For some reason I blurted out that I really wanted to use the expertise I had gained over many years in Time Management and Productivity to help small business owners. I wanted to become The Time Doctor.
No one laughed both Ian and a few other business owners that had joined us thought it was a great idea, although they said I should be The Time Lord, (I was insistent that The Time Doctor was better).
So on that night Ian and I decided that we would make 2013 the year of JFDI. We were both going to “Just F*****g Do It”. When I arrived home I did a search for The Time Lord domain names, not surpringly they were all taken. However I quickly discovered that the UK domain name for The Time Doctor, had been there all the time just waiting for me to claim it.
To date The Time Doctor has gone from strength to strength as has The Time Doctor Blog on which this week I posted article number 300. Not bad for someone who enjoyed school far too much to get qualifications. I have been determined to make every article useful and never to stray away from my niche, and so every post is full of time management and productivity hints, tips and techniques.

According to my Buzzsumo stats my most shared article which has been shared over 400 times is Do To do Lists damage your Productivity which was published in may 2016.
Most commented on Article:
The article which has attracted the most comments was also published earlier this year is 8 Secrets to an Amazing Life which got 19 separate comments, (38 with my replies)
My Biggest Blogging Highlights
For me the biggest highlight was being shortlisted for the Business blog of the year 2015, although I didn’t win, to finish in the top 5 was a great achievement and who knows what the future may bring. The articles on the blog have also brought me media attention, appearing in local and national newspapers as well as local and national radio.
I realise that ther are lots of other blogs out there that have more posts than mine, however I’m proud that I’ve been able to bring together such a resource of time management and productivity hints, tips and techniques, with all my posts being a minimum of 600 words, and some much longer. However as much as I feel that I can take credit for the writing, you my great readers must take credit for encouraging me and keeping me going, many thanks.
